- Vinette Robinson was born on March 4, 1982 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Sherlock (2010), The A Word (2016) and Vera Drake (2004).
- Trained at the Webber-Douglas Acting School, although she began as a teenager. Has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and is an occasional cast member of radio soap 'The Archers' as the mixed-race daughter of Alan Franks, the local vicar.
- Her first audition was for the part of Queen Amidala in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), which eventually went to Natalie Portman. She would be later cast in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
