My Vingren is a prominent Swedish journalist known for her investigative journalism, especially in the area of extremism and hate groups. She has made a name for herself by conducting in-depth investigations and exposés. Her work has often focused on exposing wrongdoing and corruption. Among her work are several significant investigations into how right-wing extremist networks planned or carried out acts of violence. These revelations have highlighted how young people are radicalized and how these networks operate in Sweden and internationally. For this work, My Vingren has received several awards, including the Prix Europa and Guldspaden and has been nominated for the Great Journalism Prize.
She also did an investigation into the work of the Swedish Security Service together with Daniel Öhman, in which they witnessed three well-known Nazis planting several bombs around Gothenburg in 2017. The investigation was later awarded the European Prize for Best Investigative Journalism in Prix Europa 2018.
