Ariana Grande is commenting on the allegations made by former Nickelodeon stars in the ID docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
The Wicked star appeared on a podcast and looked back at her time on the sets of Victorious and Sam & Cat, calling for therapists to be “mandatory” on kid show sets. Grande also said that it was “devastating” to learn about the experiences that some of her colleagues had.
“I think the environment needs to be made safer if kids are going to be acting, and I think there should be therapists,” Grande said on the latest episode of Popcrushed. “I think parents should allowed to be wherever they want to be, and I think not only on kids’ sets. Ariana Grande is reflecting on her time on Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Sam & Cat and admits that she is now “reprocessing” her experience amid Investigation Discovery’s Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries.
While appearing on the most recent episode of the Podcrushed podcast, co-hosted by Penn Badgley, who recently starred in her “The Boy Is Mine” music video, Grande recalled her time starring on Victorious and Sam & Cat, both of which were series created by Dan Schneider, who was a key subject in Quiet on Set.
“I was 14 and I flew out to audition with Liz Gillies for Victorious, and we were all very excited and we got cast and it was the best news we could hear,” Grande said. “We were young performers who just wanted to do this with our lives more than anything, and we got to and that was so beautiful.

A six-minute music video for Ariana Grande's latest single, "The Boy is Mine," has been released, and it finds the pop megastar channelling iconic Batman baddie/love interest, Catwoman.
The premise of the video focuses on You star Penn Badgley as the mayor of an unnamed city (we're guessing they couldn't call it Gotham), who decides to unleash an army of stray cats to rid the streets of a rat infestation. Grande plays a woman who is obsessed with the mayor and creates a love potion to make him fall for her.
Then, in a scene which appears to pay homage to Michelle Pfeiffer's Selina Kyle creating her costume in Tim Burton's Batman Returns, Grande dons a homemade Catwoman suit of her own and takes to the streets.
The tune is a single from Grande’s newest album, Eternal Eunshine, and samples Brandy and Monica's 1998 hit of the same name.

If there is one thing that everyone has accepted about Bridgerton, it is that the show is far from accurate when it comes to the historical period in which it is set. And many fans believe that this is a blessing in disguise, as it allows the series to remain relatable to modern audiences and implement blind casting when it comes to leading roles.
From Ariana Grande covers at the lavish balls to the extensive use of highlighters in makeup, Bridgerton remains a Regency-style fairy tale at best. Perhaps this is exactly what makes the show's most historically accurate character seem so cold and rude to those around her.
Is Portia Featherington the Villain?
The Featherington family has been present in Bridgerton from the beginning and has always played the opposite role to the Bridgertons themselves. Compared to the loving and welcoming Bridgertons, the Featheringtons have always been portrayed as...

Sabrina Carpenter has written dozens of songs. However, she said one piece of music told her life story. The track has a bit of a dark undercurrent. Interestingly, the tune is part of a genre that many casual fans associate with Justin Bieber.
Sabrina Carpenter’s life story is very different from a Disney movie
During a 2018 interview with Teen Vogue, Carpenter created a playlist of the tunes that defined her life. The playlist included classic tracks by The Carpenters, The Beatles, Christina Aguilera, Abba, Etta James, Skeeter Davis, and Santana, as well as one of Carpenter’s own songs: “Almost Love.” Many artists have created playlists for Teen Vogue, but Carpenter broke the rules by including one of her own songs. That’s fine because the best artists break the rules and Carpenter gave fans a lot of insight into her life when she spoke about “Almost Love.”

Last year’s Grammy Award lineup for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance was somewhat weak, with most of the nominees being deep album cuts rather than big singles. Even the ones that were singles were not particularly major hits, at least not to the level that past winners in the category have been. Is this becoming the new normal? This year’s lineup is also looking pretty scarce so far, although there are some contenders whose wins would be significant due to certain other factors.
The frontrunner right now seems to be Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight,” which has made huge waves. The single served as the lead for Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” and became an instant hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks and breaking the record for the most streamed song in a single day on Spotify. Normani Channeled Janet, Recruited Brandy, and Put ‘Absolutely Everything’ Into Her Album ‘Dopamine’
About four years ago, Normani seemed to disappear. The 28-year-old artist, who made it big as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony, went solo after the group disbanded in 2018, and found success with collaborations alongside Sam Smith and Khalid. She toured with Ariana Grande and riled up fans with her first single, the instantly catchy “Motivation.”
And then, her momentum slowed down. Normani would pop onto the scene briefly, drop a single or two, and then fade away again. She dealt with some ups and downs that kept her from releasing consistent music,...

Billie Eilish’s third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” was released May 17, yet it seems like everyone is still on a high about it. The singer-songwriter’s new record has been a huge commercial success, and it has also managed to captivate critics too, with many hailing it as the best of the year and Eilish’s brightest work yet. The album’s run has just started, but it is already a possible ticket for Eilish to score her second Album of the Year win at the Grammys.
A second win for Eilish would definitely be impressive, but not shocking. Throughout her short career, she has already taken home nine Grammys, six of those being in the general field. She’s one of the few people to win the awards for Record and Song of the Year twice, and she did so with three different songs, showing that...

In the lead up, Grande has mostly kept details about the Christian Breslauer-directed visual under wraps, while also hinting that not only is the boy hers, he might also be Penn Badgley.

Walt Disney recently released the first trailer for Moana 2, set to be released on November 27, 2024. Starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Auliʻi Cravalho, the movie aims to build on the success of the original 2016 release, which grossed around $687 million at the box office. The trailer itself promises an entertaining watch, which sees Moana set sails into unchartered territory once again, in a bid to ‘sail new waters.’
However, despite a promising trailer, it seems as if the Dwayne Johnson movie has run into a snag already, as its release date clashes with another major project. It stars none other than Ariana Grande, and boasts of Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum as well. Based on characters from the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked also releases on November 27, 2024.

Could Michael B. Jordan be out as the hero of Olympus? Could a Kingsman alumni be scooping up the role instead?
In a recent discussion on Disney rumors, The DisInsider‘s Skyler Shuler and Boardwalk Times‘ Zach Perilstein had some exciting news regarding the casting of upcoming movies. We’ve known for sometime that both actors were being eyed by Disney for the lead, but something may have recently changed.
When asked about the “top choices” for the role of the Greek hero and son of Zeus, Shuler had the following to say:
“Last I heard, Egerton was high on Disney’s “wishlist” as is Austin Butler, Jordan’s was not mentioned to me in my recent discussion with a source.“
That’s not much to go on. I’m not saying the “insider” info isn’t solid, but the longer Disney waits to pull the trigger, the more scheduling...

Mariah Carey is credited with giving the music industry some of the best hits of all time like her all-time fan-favorite holiday song All I Want for Christmas is You, which has effortlessly topped quite some charts multiple times over the years since its release in 1994. And yet, her most glorious moment didn’t happen onstage while performing one of her songs.

Instead, ironically enough, her most iconic moment actually took place offscreen and offstage, when she was reportedly busy suing her ex-fiancé in court for the most unbelievable reason that would make people think twice before even proposing to their girlfriends. But what was truly iconic about this moment was that she actually ended up winning this case nonetheless!

“Bridgerton” Season 3 is here, and with it comes a new collection of string covers of iconic pop songs. The Shondaland Netflix series made a mark with its first season by packing the regency-era period story with string quartet covers of modern pop songs, and the trend continues in the new season that puts the focus on a romance between Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton).
“Bridgerton” Season 3 Part 1 also features the Netflix show’s first-ever original song: “All I Want” is written by Rogét Chahayed (Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More”), Wesley Singerman (Jennifer Lopez’s “Butterfly”), Taylor Dexter (Joji’s “Die for You”) and Nicole Cohen (Meghan Trainor’s “Sensitive”). In 1997, Disney released its animated film Hercules, which became a major hit globally. It earned an amazing $252.7 million on an $85 million budget, which was an exceptional amount of money back then, and it made history as one of Disney’s most beloved animated features. The original movie featured the voice talents of Tate Donovan (as Hercules), Danny DeVito (as Philoctetes), James Woods (as Hades), and Susan Egan (as Megara), some of who reprised their roles in the sequel animated series and the animated prequel. But, with Disney doing its series of live-action remakes of its animated classics, we know that Hercules is also being remade, and some recent rumors suggest that we have a chief candidate for the role of Megara!

Following persistent rumors, we got word that Disney was officially moving forward with a live-action remake of Hercules back in 2022, with Aladdin director Guy Ritchie set to helm the project and Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo on board as producers.
Updates have been few and far between since then, and we're still waiting to find out which actors are going to bring life to the main characters.
Previous rumors have claimed that Taron Edgerton and Ariana Grande were up for the roles of Hercules and Meg, and while there's every chance they will end up being cast, we may be able to add another name to the mix for the movie's female lead.
According to reliable Disney source the DisInsider, pop megastar turned actress Dua Lipa might be a contender to play Meg. He doesn't say whether she's actually in talks, only that the studio "likes" her for the part.

The Voice is celebrating 25 seasons on NBC with the Season 25 finale, and it is remembering all the coaches who spun their chairs throughout the years.
Finale night started with a throwback performance from Og coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, and Blake Shelton. The quartet performed Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy,” which Green co-wrote, during the premiere episode of The Voice back in 2011.
After the performance, host Carson Daly read the names of the coaches who have appeared on The Voice over the past 25 seasons.
Blake Shelton has been the longest-running coach, spinning his chair for 23 seasons. Adam Levine was featured as a coach for the show’s first 16 seasons. Christina Aguilera was a permanent fixture in the first three seasons. She would then take a break and return for three more seasons, in Seasons 5, 8, and 10.
