After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, Tricia obtained her real estate license and began exploring who she was as an entrepreneur. During her first year in real estate, she also started "Innovative Arts", a successful performing arts studio in Oakville, Ontario. The creating she did at the studio inspired her to pivot her career and further her education at a film school.
Tricia was accepted into the Advanced Television and Film program at Sheridan College studying Screenwriting and Producing. While there, Tricia gained experience producing two documentaries, two short films, and wrote two narrative shorts that were produced by her peers.
After graduating from Sheridan, Tricia joined the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) as the Production Coordinator/On Set Representative. At the CFC, Tricia had the opportunity to gain experience within the independent film world and a strong foundation for production. Working closely with the talented filmmakers at the CFC is what drove Tricia to get out there and to tell her own stories as a Writer/Director.
After the CFC, Tricia set her sights on working in scripted live-action television. She got her first job working as an Office PA on Season 1 of "The Umbrella Academy" (Netflix). After running a successful INDIEGOGO campaign during her time at Umbrella Academy, Tricia wrote and Directed "A Rock & A Hard Place". She then went on to work with some of Hollywood's most talented writers and directors as a Directors' Assistant on the hit shows Locke & Key (Netflix), Season 3 of American Gods (Starz), and Season 2 & 3 of "Foundation" (Apple TV).
Tricia continues to write and direct and is continuously inspired to share her unique perspective with the film industry.
