Nena Danevic is an Academy Award nominated film editor best known for his brief association with director Milos Forman in acclaimed films such as Ragtime (1981) - where she began her career as assistant editor - and then as editor in his two other 1980's films Amadeus (1984) - for which she received an Oscar and a Bafta nomination alongside Michael Chandler - and Valmont (1989).
As pointed out in article by the Asbury Park Press newspaper, she was 30-years-old at the time of the Oscar nomination, and she revealed several stories about the editing process in Amadeus and also the fact her parents worked as newspaper editors. Due to lengthy production of Forman movie she declined several editing jobs in order to stay with her family. After Valmont, she didn't returned to the film business - or if so, it's probably credited under a different name.
