Invincible is one of the most critically acclaimed animated shows on television, so it’s no surprise that Prime Video and the team behind the show are mounting an Emmy campaign in the hopes that the series will be recognized at the awards ceremony for the best in the best of television.
We at FandomWire got to sit down with Invincible creator Robert Kirkman to discuss the show’s explosive season 2, why he thinks less familiar forms of animation like Invincible deserve the spotlight, and even a little bit about what fans should expect from the upcoming season 3.

In the post-apocalyptic horror world of The Walking Dead, relationships can be fleeting and rare. Daryl Dixon, the beloved loner played by Norman Reedus, has suffered from a fair amount of grief and heartbreak throughout the series. So when a potential love interest came knocking in the form of Leah (played by Lynn Collins) in season 10, fans were thrilled as well as hesitant.
Can a man hardened by loss and survival find space for romance in a world overrun by walkers? Well, regrettably, following his brief on-screen romance with Collins in season 10, Reedus had to deal with the wrath of The Walking Dead fans, who were gripped by intense emotions.

Could Invincible be getting more seasons on Prime Video? According to Skybound Republic, an investment/crowdfunding site that allows fans to invest in the label, more episodes of the ultra-violent comic book action series are coming. In a since-deleted portion of the webpage, the site said Invincible Season 3 is in production, while the show had been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5. The webpage promotes a video game set in the Invincible universe, which fans can help fund. The crowdfunded project sits at $442,700 as of this posting, with 14 days to go in the campaign.
A portion of the mission statement for the campaign describes why making a video based on a licensed property causes some problems:
“Most crowdfunded video games are centered around indie games, and retail investors rarely have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Aaa game publishers. Skybound is developing a highly produced, high-octane blood bath that is anything but indie.

Going out of the box is probably one of the best and yet, one of the rarest strategies that filmmakers and showmakers use. However, that wasn’t the case with Teen Titans which made the show very popular, especially among kids.

With its premiere on July 19, 2003, Teen Titans entered into the world of cartoons with a bang. The show premiered on Cartoon Network channel with its first two seasons also available on Kids’ WB. It immediately became a popular show with its funny and interesting characters. Major credit behind its success surely goes to its creator and developer, Glen Murakami.
In fact, due to a big step taken by Murakami regarding the show, the entire world saw and recognized a few characters of the show who were earlier mildly known.

[This story contains spoilers from The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.]
Years after his presumed death, Rick Grimes is not only alive and well, but fully back in action.
By the end of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira-starring and produced limited series, the powerhouse duo of Rick and Michonne officially reunited. Not just with each other, but with their family and friends. Having dismantled the nefarious Crm from the inside, the titular “ones who live” earned their way back to the Alexandria safe zone they called home for so many seasons, with Rick reuniting with his daughter for the first time in years, and meeting his son Rj for the first time ever.
All’s well that ends well, right? Just one problem: it ain’t over just yet.

American animated series Young Justice is considered one of the best superhero series ever made. Contrary to its title which suggests that it is an adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago, and Todd Nauck’s comic series, the TV series is an original story, set in the DC Universe. It primarily explores the adventures of teenage and young adult superheroes.

Created by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, the series features numerous young heroes such as Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis. Ezra Miller’s role in Prime Video’s Invincible has seemingly been recast in the wake of the actor’s controversies leading up to the release of The Flash.
In season one of the animated series, Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, voiced District Attorney Sinclair, a genius who attended Upstate University and believes that human weaknesses can be solved by engineering. After being defeated by the Invincible team, he returns in this week’s episode of season two, “I’m Not Going Anywhere.”
This time around, however, it appears the mad scientist is no longer voiced by Miller but instead by Eric Bauza. The actor has more than 350 voice credits, including X-Men ’97, Krapopolis, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Rick & Morty.
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Miller’s rep and Prime Video for comment.

Although he has made some memorable on-screen appearances, Ezra Miller’s career seems to be on a downward spiral, as the Hollywood actor has been fired from yet another major project. Namely, when the seventh episode of Amazon’s adaptation of Invincible aired, titled “I’m Not Going Anywhere”, the character of D.A. Sinclair appeared once again, but unlike season one, he was not voiced by Ezra Miller anymore. This came as a sort of surprise for everyone, as it had not been announced that Miller was fired from the series. The character is now voiced by Eric Bauza.
The second part of Invincible‘s second season premiered on March 14, 2024, after a several-month break and no information about Miller being recast had been released; Deadline has contacted Amazon, but no official statement has been released regarding this change in the voice cast of the series.

It appears Ezra Miller was quietly recast as mad scientist D.A. Sinclair in Season 2 of Prime Video’s Invincible.
Miller voiced the character in one episode in the first season of the adult animated series, but when Sinclair appeared in the March 28th episode, the character was voiced by Eric Bauza.
Deadline has reached out to Prime Video for comment.
Miller, embattled star of The Flash and Fantastic Beasts, has been embroiled in multiple scandals. Last year, they pleaded guilty to unlawful trespassing in a burglary case in Vermont after cutting a plea deal ahead of the hearing. In 2022, Miller agreed to mental health treatment after a string of run-ins with the law.

"Young Justice" is one of the best superhero shows ever made. Building on the path carved by the work of Bruce Timm with "Justice League," "Batman: The Animated Series," and more, this animated series draws from every corner of the DC universe, from Jack Kirby's trippy Fourth Wall to Golden Age characters and much more. The show offered episodic storytelling, with most episodes revolving around a specific mission, while also advancing an overarching story with big consequences.
Perhaps the show's biggest achievement is one that we still haven't seen properly replicated in live-action — the idea of legacy. Throughout the current four seasons of "Young Justice" (we still don't know where and if the show fits James Gunn's DC Universe), we see heroes retire and pass on their mantle to new generations who carry on their heroic legacy. We see that with Jason Todd becoming Robin after Dick Grayson became Nightwing,...

With the recent reveal trailer for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra came a renewed sense of excitement from fans of the franchise. During the Epic Games panel at the Game Developers Conference fans finally discovered the official title for the game which was teased way back in 2022.
Although there isn’t much given away in terms of gameplay, the game being developed by Skydance New Media does show that in addition to the two main protagonists of Captain America and Black Panther, players will also be to play as one of the Howling Commandos and as a member of the Wakandan Spy Network. So there is sure to be plenty of variety in the play styles throughout.
Is the casting of Black Panther, another success?
Take on a variety of characters to battle the threat of Hydra

Skydance New Media’s World War II Marvel game has finally got a title: Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Not only that, it has also got a release window and a first trailer. The game is based on the Marvel superhero characters, Captain America, Black Panther, and two other characters.
The characters of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra
Skydance and Marvel Games announced the game back in 2021 (via Deadline) and officially teased in 2022 (via Game Informer). The trailer of the game is rather promising as it sees Captain America and Black Panther in a face-off. This is not the first time the two characters have shared the screen in the Marvel Universe, but this is certainly the first time that they will come together like this.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers for Season 2, Episode 5 of “Invincible,” now streaming on Prime Video.
Mark’s time to think is over: “Invincible” Season 2, Part 2 has just premiered.
The episode picked up right where Part 1’s finale left off, with Mark (played by Steven Yeun) left stranded on the planet Thraxa after Omni-Man’s (played by J.K. Simmons) capture by the Viltrumites.
Though the episode didn’t reveal Nolan/Omni-Man’s fate, we did get to see Mark step into his role as an older brother after the last episode’s bombshell revealed what Omni-Man had been up to since flying away from Earth — starting a new family on Thraxa and fathering a new son, Oliver.
Mark has spent the past two months helping to rebuild the planet, and after initial hesitation, decides to take Oliver back to Earth to be raised by him and his mother, Debbie (played by Sandra Oh). Mark,...

What a time to be alive for superhero fans. The final half of “Invincible” is nearly here, and Prime Video has released the first trailer for the bloody finale to Season 2.
Season 2 Part 2, which consists of four episodes, begins streaming on Prime Video on March 14 and will release each episode weekly.
Part 1 released back in November and ended on several cliffhangers, with Invincible, aka Mark Grayson, bumping into his father Omni-Man, who tried to kill him in the Season 1 finale, on an alien planet. The tense reunion got even more awkward when Omni-Man revealed he had fathered a child with one of the insectoid alien members. Together, Invincible and Omni-Man barely defeated three Viltrumite attackers, who took Omni-Man back to their base and ordered Invincible to prepare Earth for takeover.
The Season 2 Part 2 trailer teases even more bloody, limb-snapping, intergalactic action. Invincible returns to space and must handle an invasion from the mind-controlling, parasitic aliens seen in the first season.

Amazon’s decision to split season 2 of its epic animated superhero series Invincible into two parts has been received, let’s say … less than warmly.
After the first four episodes of Invincible season 2 finished premiering Nov. 24, 2023 on Prime Video, fans have had to wait a grueling four months without fresh dispatches from Mark Grayson a.k.a. Give it a watch below:

Debbie Grayson (Sandra Oh) is tormented by a cabinet door that won’t shut. It suffered a shoddy repair job following the calamity that upended Debbie’s life one month ago, when her husband, Nolan (J.K. Simmons), the extraterrestrial superhero known as Omni-Man, revealed his mission to colonize Earth for his homeland of Viltrum. Nolan leveled the city of Chicago, killing thousands of people and nearly murdering their son, Mark (Steven Yeun), before flying off into the atmosphere. Debbie’s frequent trips to the kitchen for glasses of wine culminate in clashes with the door, which remains slightly ajar—a stubborn symbol of the anger and grief that she hasn’t figured out how to compartmentalize.

Los Angeles, July 22 (Ians) The popular American animated superhero series ‘Invincible’ has just released the teaser trailer for its upcoming Season 2. The teaser takes place in the aftermath of Invincible’s brutal confrontation with his father, Omni-Man in the finale of Season 1.
It’s mostly just a reel to hype up the massive star-studded voice cast, without much in the way of actual footage leaving things pretty obscure.
Based on the Robert Kirkman graphic novels of the same name, the series revolves around teenager Mark Grayson as he develops superpowers akin to his father, the world’s most powerful hero Omni-Man, only to eventually learn of a dark secret behind his father’s past while dealing with his own powers. After all, ‘With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility’, it may be an overused line in Spiderman, but is applicable for all supers and even in real life.

Hasbro’s Entertainment One (eOne) is rolling the D&d dice — betting that Dungeons & Dragons fans will flock to a new free, ad-supported streaming television (Fast) channel dedicated to the fantasy franchise it’s prepping for a summer launch.
The Dungeons & Dragons Adventures Fast channel is expected to be available on “a number” of platforms but eOne has not cut any distribution deals as yet, according to the company.
The channel will feature a slate of original celebrity-focused unscripted series, including “Encounter Party,” “Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!” and “Heroes’ Feast,” as well as catalog content including the 1980s “Dungeons & Dragons” animated series. In addition, the Fast channel is to feature third-party content from top internet creators and influencers with a focus on live gameplay.
“This is an amazing opportunity to create and highlight exciting, engaging Dungeons & Dragons content, to both serve our wide audience of existing fans...

This Titans season 4 article contains spoilers.
With shows like Loki and movies like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Marvel has established itself as the source for multiverse stories in television and film. But comic book fans know that Marvel was relatively late to the multiverse game, having been beaten to the punch several decades earlier by the DC story “The Flash of Two Worlds.”
So it was more than a little satisfying to see Gar Logan aka Beast Boy take a trip through the Red that connects all of the DC worlds in the ninth episode of Titans fourth and final season, “Dude, Where’s My Gar.” As Gar (Ryan Potter) moves through the Red, we get glimpses of various other DC properties, including Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) of Stargirl, Swamp Thing (Derek Mears) from the short-lived 2019 series, as well as he and Cyborg’s animated counterparts from Teen Titans Go!.

Los Angeles, April 10 (Ians) Actor Jack Black has some ideas for ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ sequel and he is suggesting Pedro Pascal get cast as Wario.
Black voices Bowser in the animated movie and although he is not sure if his character would return for a potential follow-up film, he would want ‘The Mandalorian’ star to voice Mario’s arch-rival, reports ‘Deadline’.
“It’s not a given that Bowser will return. You know, I did a few ‘Kung Fu Panda’ movies, and it was a different villain every movie. They may do the same thing,” Black told Game Spot.
“You know, what if there is a more powerful, more evil villain? Then I may need to be turned to help Mario and the rest to defend our universe against some other unseen force of evil. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Wario. Pedro Pascal is Wario.”

"The Super Mario Bros. Movie" has finally hit theaters, and fans are getting a chance to hang with all their favorite Nintendo characters like Mario (Chris Pratt), Luigi (Charlie Day), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Bowser (Jack Black). Mario, Peach, and Toad are off on an adventure to save Luigi from Bowser's clutches with the help of Donkey Kong and an army from his land. Bowser, on the other hand, is trying with all his might to get Peach to marry him.
We journey through the Mushroom Kingdom, race a la "Mario Kart," and go through obstacle courses that make you feel like you're playing the game without having to constantly redo levels. (What? I love games. That doesn't mean I'm good at them.) However, one character stands out for me and perhaps for you as well. Even if you haven't seen the film yet,...

During today's Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment released the newest trailer "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," based on the world of the Mario video game franchise. We haven't seen a Mario Bros. movie since the monstrosity (I say that with love) that was the 1993 live-action "Super Mario Bros.", and before that, the Japanese anime film "Super Mario Bros.: The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach!" from 1986.
This time around, we have Chris Pratt voicing the diminutive Italian plumber instead of voice actor Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario, his brother Luigi, and so many other characters since 1992. (Martinet will reportedly lend his voice in a cameo role in this movie.) As for the plot, we know the kingdom of Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and many others (including the penguins we saw in the teaser trailer) are in trouble. Bowser (Jack Black) is trying to take over all the galaxies,...
