Adelaide Waldrop is an Intimacy Coordinator, Director, and Theatremaker based in London, UK.
As an Intimacy Coordinator, she has worked on productions for Warner Brothers, Paramount, Working Title, HBO, Netflix, Disney, Apple TV, BBC, Channel 4, and various independent projects. She also works as an Intimacy Director for theatre.
Adelaide is certified with Intimacy for Stage and Screen, where she trained with Lizzy Talbot and Yarit Dor. Prior to that she was part of Ita O'Brien's company, Intimacy On Set until 2019. Adelaide was a teaching assistant for the Intimacy Coordinators Mentoring Scheme for Underrepresented Groups led by Yarit Dor, and subsequently a teaching artist and mentor for Moving Body Arts' Intimacy Coordinator Certification Programme 2023-24.
Adelaide graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2017 with an MA in Directing and has since returned as a visiting teaching artist of Intimacy in Performance. She has served as Secretary of the IC Branch of Bectu since its inception in 2020.
Originally from Washington, D.C., she has been living in London since 2016.
