Austin Vandagriff is an American actor from Amarillo, Texas.
Austin became interested in the idea of films and photography at a young age, and that passion continued to grow into his teen years. At the age of 17, he began taking photographs and found a love for film making, which helped lead him on the path of pursuing an acting career and taking photographs in his spare time. To help with this pursuit, he began training in Mixed Martial Arts and weapons training to help keep him in physical shape for any project that comes his way.
Austin has worked on shorts and indie films where he was cast as main and supporting roles, while having also worked on television shows and feature films where he did background acting and stand-in work.
"The Guilty Party" is his most known role to date, where he played the antagonist of the film. The film received an award for "Best Noir Short of December 2020". His most recent work includes his time on the Yellowstone prequel series "1883" where he was a core Slavic Emigrant background character and stand-in for multiple characters throughout the series, the short film "Gasp!" where he played an antagonist role, and the short film "The Salesman" where he played the character of Daniel. Austin will be appearing in an upcoming feature film called "Dead Community Guild" which is expected to be released in the Fall of 2023.
Austin's goals are to continue growing as an actor, build his resume, and also write screenplays that will eventually be made into full-length films. He plans to continue his pursuit of an acting career and make it in the industry where he can broaden his knowledge and embody different characters, with the ultimate goal being to land a supporting or lead role in a feature film.
