Jenny Oman
- Set Decorator
- Production Designer
- Art Department
Having graduated from Trinity College Dublin, majoring in set and lighting design for theatre, I transitioned into film early in my career starting out as a Trainee Buyer on TV commercials in 1997. Since then my career has taken a fairly traditional route through all the various roles within the department, working today primarily as Set Decorator on a wide variety of film and TV productions spanning all budgets; whilst also seeking suitable projects for advancing my career in Production Design.
My work can now be enjoyed in the recent release of DISENCHANTED for Disney +, period dramas including THE TUDORS, RIPPER STREET, BECOMING JANE and BROOKLYN, cult favourites such as FRANK and Amazon Prime's PATRIOT as well as block busters for Warner Bros and Universal Studios. I enjoy working abroad in both Europe and the USA and have headed many foreign crews working through French, German and at one time Russian! I have a particular love of textiles and a penchant for trawling auction rooms in search of the perfect finishing touch!
I am a founding member of The Irish Guild of Set Decorators and proud member of The Set Decorators Society of America.
