Star Trek: First Contact (1996)
Greatest Star Trek film
First contact captures the best bits of the series. The borg are a frightening foe and it adds real depth and grit. Loved it
Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)
Not the best not the worst
I'm a huge Trekkie. I think this series did a great job of creating the universe but didn't run with it as well as movies like First Contact did. Definitely ds9 trumps this in terms of entertainment value
Casino (1995)
Good not great
If you liked goodfellas you'll like this film. Gritty mafia film with few redeeming qualities amongst the protagonists
L.A. Confidential (1997)
Great!!
Such a great all star series. Great work particularly by two Aussie actors Pearce and Crowe. We don't see enough of them anymore in mainstream cinema
Sin City (2005)
Ok
I wouldn't say this film deserved a sequel. Most of the points go towards great costume, set design and editing. Beyond that the acting and storyline weren't compelling
Le Cinquième Élément (1997)
The best
One of the few films that blends a meaningful message with science fiction fantasy and comedy
Family Guy (1999)
Great comedy
Hard to believe this series has been around since 1999. It's a bit like South Park- don't watch if you take yourself seriously or are easily offended!
The Cleveland Show (2009)
So harsh
I don't understand why people don't like this series - it's essentially family guy from Cleveland's POV. It's so funny
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Malek
Malek deserves his Oscar but no mention of Singer all the way along? I know it's the elephant in the room with what is going on in Hollywood but you can't make a great film without a great director. I think Singer delivered for the most part before he was fired. I share similar views to others that the writing for the ending could have been better.
A Star Is Born (2018)
Favorite movie
This Oscar winning film will have you in tears, move you an excite you. The music is amazing and the chemistry between Gaga and cooper is on point - a much watch
